Right, I'm officially bored with being ill now. Not that I especially want to go back to work, but - bah.

It does become tedius fast. Hope you're better soon... but no that you have to go to work... I can't win this can I?

what's really annoying is that I'd booked today as annual leave, and I'm too lurgified to go out. And I've run out of coffee. Argh.

I'm guessing coffee is to you what tea is to me? In other words the only way we stay alive?

I like tea first thing, and in the afternoon, but right about now I'd kill for a pot of fresh black coffee (which admittedly wouldn't help with the headache, but it'd perk me up a bit LOL).

I could drag myself down to the shop, but that would mean getting dressed...

I'm a tea freak 100% I've had 3 cups today already :P (that can't be good can it?)

Oof. My heart genuinly goes out to you. If I could I would get you some coffee myself.

aww, thank you sweetie! I'm on my second mug of tea now - if I'd been at work I'd have probably been on my third coffee LOL!

My mum always used to say 'If you're getting bored you're feeling better'.

Not that this is of any use whatsoever...

poor you *hugs* being ill and fed up with being so is the worst feeling in the world - it drives you crazy. All i can suggest is keep looking at griza's picture of jeremy bottom - its hypnotic, even if it doesn't make you feel better its a good way to pass the time.

Maybe you could order some coffee from tesco's online and get them to deliver it to you.

*sends get well vibes to you*

Jezza!arse is a good cure-all *nods* *stares*

hah, I did actually consider getting coffee delivered, but a £5 delivery charge for a bag of coffee felt a little excessive *giggles*

I'm with you on that one; day three and I am now especially pissed off - only so much daytime telly you can watch without tearing your fingernails out for fun.

*glomps you, tries not to give you any of my germs*

A good book? (I know, I know, even reading becomes boring when you feel like death.)

*snuggles*

to cap it all I now have period pain to add on top of lurgey, residual migraine and earache. *growls*

I am currently working on finishing Pale Rider, which is passing the time nicely.

At some point, I am going to have to face the washing up, as I'm running out of things to eat off. So that should stave off boredom - oh no, wait...

*clings*

Industrial strength painkillers? Always helpful, I find. :)

Ah, you see, I have this weird thing where I can't write/watch/read anything important when I'm ill because then it always has weird connotations of illness. My sister is the same; she can no longer watch Deal Or No Deal because she saw it every day when she was in bed for 3 months with morning sickness...

Noooo! Get Lodger-type to do it!

lodger-type is away for the week, which in many ways is a good thing, because I can wander about in my fdressing gown groaning mournfully without feeling self-conscious LOL!

ah, see the only good thing about being ill in my book is that you get time to catch up on reading/writing/watching stuff! once the head stops aching enough to concentrate anyway. Although I suspect it might have stopped hurting altogether by now if I hadn't spent most of the weekend in front of the laptop LOL

Oh no, you don't want someone watching you suffer; be ill whilst they're away and retain your dignity *grins*

Lol, what did people do when they were ill before TV and computers?! I can just imagine someone wandering around a mansion in Regency times being uncommonly ill and not knowing what to do with themselves. :)

I got like that when I was ill. It's only fun not being at work if you're well.
