...I just got forcibly sent home from work to watch the tennis, because I said I liked Ferrero and they were all "well you'd better watch this one because it'll be your last chance" LOL.

Got home in time to see the last half hour. Poor baby. *pets him*

My favourite piece of Wimbledon commentary so far:

1st commentator: " - blah blah blah playing possum.....Do you have possums in this country?"
2nd commentator: "No, we don't."
*pause*
1st C: "Well it's a sort of defence mechanism, they pretend they're dead."
2nd C: "....it doesn't mean I don't know what a possum is, just because we don't have them in this country, but thank you for insulting me."

I love the fact that the Wimbledon commentators are getting indignant over someone in the crowd hanging onto the ball that landed on her. And the fact that the cameras keep going back to her looking shifty :D

Bah, Juan Carlos Ferrero's gone out injured *sulks*. Don't know who I want to win now. Possibly Nadal, but only because I'm convinced he's sekrittly a were-rat. (Don't ask).

BTW, is anyone on my flist remotely interested in the tennis, or shall I shut up? *g*

Some time after six o clock I suddenly remembered the tennis final and brought up the website to see who'd won. There followed an OMFGthey'restillplaying moment when I dived for the remote - in time to see Championship point, LOL
