So let's get this straight. A teenage kid with preternatural powers discovers it's his destiny to protect mankind from demons and vampires and shit, and is mentored by a man called Rupert who has a library referred to as the stacks? Hmmn, wonder where they came up with those ideas...

Anyway, yes, I loved it. Although I remain to be convinced of Glenister's American accent.

I liked Ruby, especially her werewolf-face-bottle-smashing of win. And points awarded for hi-larious use of the song Ruby, Ruby, Ruby.

Is that it for Gladiolus Thrip then? They seemed to make a lot of him in the Radio Times.

Oh, and I felt very sorry for the rat. Door would not have approved.
