Went to see Dracula: Untold last night with rhosyndu. It was kind've hilarious, except possibly wasn't meant to be. I think the main trouble was the fact they focused on whether he'd give in to his new powers/bloodlust and bite someone, thereby damning himself to an eternity of being a vampire. Which, given that this was the origin story of Dracula, was a bit like making the dramatic focus of Titanic the question of whether it'll sink.

Oh, and Dracula was Aramis from the Musketeers film with the airships, which didn't help with the taking it seriously thing. Nor did the plot, to be fair...
